Dr Smith qualified in 1985 from the University of Stellenbosch and has had his own practice since then. He has since then completed an honours diploma in aesthetic dentistry from the same university.

Special interests are aesthetic dentistry and endodontics.

Dr Smith's rooms are in Regent Road, Sea Point.
